Harmony of Sweetness and Freshness

Yellow Muscat

Vineyard and Harvest

The OH Wine Yellow Muscat vineyards are located on the rolling hills of Western Istria, at an altitude of 140–180 meters. The deep, mineral-rich red soil ensures naturally limited yields, resulting in exceptional aroma concentration and an ideal sugar-acid balance. A warm spring and balanced rainfall enabled proper grape development, while the hot summer led to perfect ripening. The grapes were hand-harvested in September, ensuring optimal maturity and aromatic richness

Vinification and Maturation

Grapes were hand-picked in the early morning hours and carefully processed to preserve their natural freshness. After a 12-hour cold maceration, the must fermented at a temperature of 11–13°C for ten days. Fermentation was stopped at 30g/l of residual sugar, preserving the wine’s naturally semi-sweet aromatic character. The wine aged for three months in stainless steel tanks and then an additional two months in the bottle before release.

Characteristics and Taste

OH Wine Yellow Muscat features brilliant clarity and a delicate greenish-golden hue. On the nose, it offers fresh aromas of elderflower and floral notes. On the palate, it is elegantly full, fresh, and rounded, with a harmonious mineral finish.

Serving Suggestion

Best served chilled at 6–10°C with desserts, ice creams, and light fruit-based cakes, where its aromatic profile truly shines.
