Vineyard and Harvest

The OH YEAH vineyards are nestled on the rolling hills of Western Istria, at an altitude of 140–180 meters, facing the northwest. The mineral-rich red soil imparts exceptional depth and character to the grapes. The growing season brought optimal conditions: a warm spring and summer with ideal rainfall distribution enabled early ripening and perfect grape maturity. Hand-harvested in the early morning, the grapes were processed within two hours to preserve their freshness.

Vinification and Maturation

Following a 12-hour cold maceration, the must was racked and clarified at low temperatures, with fermentation taking place over ten days at 12–15°C. The wine was then aged for six months in stainless steel and an additional 15 months in bottle under cork before release. A total of 21 months of maturation has resulted in a wine that balances freshness with elegant roundness.

Characteristics and Taste

OH YEAH delights with crystal clarity and a golden hue. Aromas of green apple and citrus intertwine with subtle grassy notes. On the palate, it is elegant and structured, marked by pronounced minerality and a slightly salty finish. Made from 80% Istrian Malvasia and 20% Chardonnay from our own vineyards – a fusion of Istrian tradition and international finesse.

Serving Suggestion

Serve chilled at 8–10°C with light starters, pasta, risottos, white meat, fish, shellfish, and truffles.
